I don’t know how it got screwed up. I still have to re-load the Nitsche’s I allude to.

some recent purchases
for some reason, my next post got appended to the previous one. One showed 9 Nitsche covers. The next ones – Don Cornell, Ted Lewis, are probably Steinweiss.
two from monogram and a steinweiss from a series
I love series covers. Here are the front and back of a Steinweiss Remington, and the two of these that I already posted. Slightly different colors

new purchases, mostly steinweiss
the first one is Joe Weitz, but could have fooled me. I am not sure why I bought the Porgy and Bess. The fake stereo Oklahoma does not add much to the beauty of that cover :).

Like with my Columbia collection, where I seem to shelve the Steinweiss designs separately from the other designers, I shelve my non-Steinweiss Decca lps separately for the most part. But I am not consistent, Joe Weitz can wind up in either … Continue reading
my remaining 10 inch decca lps
these are all of the 10 inch lps on decca that I haven’t posted. One is signed piedra blanca. A betting person would bet 100% that the Music for Your Mood ones were also Steinweiss. The rest of these, I … Continue reading
six ten inch decca lps
One could bet money on the last one, Victor Young, being Steinweiss. The rest might be also.
a bit of a mishmash
the first two are repeats. the rest are mostly 10 inch lps on decca and coral, some of them probably steinweiss. a couple corals that are 12 inch lps, that I shelve as non-steinweiss. but the one with all the … Continue reading
a great evening of live music
Hi y’all. I am away from my beloved scanner, and thought I would talk about a great evening’s live music for once. After all, I originally got into record covers because they covered records, and I do love music as … Continue reading
