2 scheherazades and a steinweiss
no theme to this post, just a few covers that I acquired recently.
eight recent acquisitions – some definitely Steinweiss
These are eight recent acquisitions. Even though I am trying to get out of collecting, I can’t resist a Steinweiss of the golden age in as good condition as the Don Baker. Of the rest, Buddy Greco is signed Joe … Continue reading

the remainder of my London records not by Steinweiss or Maas
A few more that I collected just because I liked them. One of them looks like it could be Steinweiss, but is a little dull, and another one has an illustration that could be Steinweiss along with other elements that … Continue reading
three more remotely possibly Steinweiss covers
What are the odds that any of these is Steinweiss? The Lincoln one is the least likely. The Mozart and the Trenier Brothers I give a 50/50 chance.
seven recent acquisitions, probably Steinweiss
Even though I am trying, slowly, to get rid of my collection, I still acquire lps that are Steinweiss, or probably Steinweiss. I no longer buy 78 rpm sets, I really have no room for those. Here are 7 recent … Continue reading

gigi steinweiss
Another Gigi, this time designed by Steinweiss. A bunch of song titles on the front, just like on many other ones of these Gigi sampler albums. But somehow Steinweiss always makes a better design.
a last everest, just for fun, and a steinweiss london
This Everest record is from 1972. I love that Chinese communist graphic sensibility. Sometimes I keep a record cover just because it is so amusing. The London Steinweiss, and the rest of the posts of today, mark the end of … Continue reading
three more everest covers. Steinweiss?
These three I am less sure of. The organ music one is pretty, but it has too late a catalog number. Captain Kangaroo probably is, although it is not particularly nice. And the other one? Who knows.
the last few definite Steinweiss covers
A few more Everest SDBR covers. These are the last ones that I am sure (or almost sure) are Steinweiss.
reissues of a previously posted cover, fading away
I already posted an original copy of this cover. Over time, Everest kept the same cover but lowered the quality of the printing.
