decca lps not by steinweiss – mostly eric nitsche

Like with my Columbia collection, where I seem to shelve the Steinweiss designs separately from the other designers, I shelve my non-Steinweiss Decca lps separately for the most part. But I am not consistent, Joe Weitz can wind up in either section. Here are my earliest Decca non-Steinweiss lps. Dancing in the Dark could be Steinweiss. The rest clearly aren’t. A few are signed Eric Nitsche, a great designer who I collect, but am not a completist about. Two of the designs have stickers as part of the design – a rare element for record covers. One of those has cardboard of two very different textures. All early 1950s.
