Columbia ML4177 two different manufacturing methods

I never tire of saying that record covers are like postage stamps, only much bigger. Two postage stamps that are otherwise identical but are on different paper – glossy, dull, thick, thin – are of different values to collectors. No one collects record covers at that level except perhaps me.

Here is one piece of music with two covers that differ in materials and manufacturing methods. The earlier one has a sort of cardboard material which is folded over and pasted on the back. The later one is a much more normal cover, a paper slick paste onto stock cardboard.
