Steinweiss designed for London from some time in the early to mid-1950s until around 1970. I have never seen a London Steinweiss that was signed, so one has to guess which covers are his. There are a few designers – Joe Weitz, Curt John Witt, and others, whose work fools me into thinking it was Steinweiss. Nevertheless, here are 7 great London covers that I present as a tribute to Alex Steinweiss 10 days after his death at age 94.
